Campus Solidarity for New Zealand Mosque Tragedy

On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Saskatchewan together with the CMCO Muslim Chaplaincy SK hosted an event to commemorate the lives of those lost and stand in solidarity against Islamophobia.  Various media outlets were in attendance, CTV news publicized the following article:  saskatoon.ctvnews.ca

Great event attended by a diverse amount of people and communities.  The MSA and the CMCO conveyed a strong message of how Islam guides us to approach and traverse these tragedies and the reward of the Shahada.  A strong, confident, and pragmatic representation of Islam was conveyed to Insha Allah by Allah’s (SWT) blessing.
